Xherdan Shaqiri Liverpool

Xherdan Shaqiri has played very little football this season in the Premier League for Liverpool and chances are that he will be moving out in the summer.

Earlier this campaign, the Swiss international had claimed that he is clearly not happy with the amount of playing time he’s been getting.

“I’m disappointed that I do not play anymore,” he had said, as reported.

“Nobody likes to sit on the bench. It’s clear that I want more time. I have to look at the situation and find a solution.”

And in January there were several rumours that the Xherdan Shaqiri could be moving out of Anfield since he needs to play more games.

But Jurgen Klopp quickly shut down these rumours down claiming that the forward would not be heading out during the middle of the season.

Now though, the situation seems to have altered since the latest updates claim that Galatasaray are eager to get him onboard and are planning to make a bid for him during the summer.

Xherdan Shaqiri is out of contract at Liverpool in 2023 so naturally, Klopp will be in no hurry to sell him off. But having said that, the forward could try and force a move out since so far he’s played in only six Premier League games for the Anfield outfit.

TransferMarkt currently values at £20 million and experts believe this should enough to convince Liverpool to sell him off at the end of the season.

This is not the first time that Galatasaray are eager to sign Xherdan Sahqiri having made a move for the player back when he was about to join Bayern Munich.

UPDATE:

As per the latest rumours, Liverpool are willing to part ways with Xherdan Shaqiri during the summer but the club want £25 million in order to agree to a deal.
