Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure bid goodbye to the Etihad at the end of the current season but it looks like the Ivorian’s footballing career is far from over.

Yaya Toure’s will become a free agent at the end of this month but and his agent has confirmed that the midfielder has received a lot of offers from big clubs across Europe.

But as things stand Toure wants to join a top-six club in the Premier League in order to prove Pep Guardiola that he still has a lot of football left in him.

This is not the first time that Toure has had to move out of a club which is being managed by Guardiola(Barcelona being the other instance) and recently the 35-year-old has accused Guardiola of being biased towards white players in his team.

Now Toure’s agent has claimed that the midfielder will happily play for a top Premier League club.

Toure’s representative Dimitri Seluk told sport24“Yaya has received many offers from different countries, big money offers, but we have decided to devote the next season to Guardiola,

“To prove to the Manchester City fans that Yaya is not finished with football. He is full of strength and energy and wants to play in England this season.

“At a time when English clubs are spending huge sums of money on players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any top-six English club as a free agent with a salary of £1 per week. As long as a success-based bonus system is in place.

“I think a player like Yaya would be good for a club like Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Tottenham or Liverpool. Yaya is a winner.

“And a top player with leadership qualities could never be a bad addition to a team, especially when he doesn’t require payment.”

Toure made only 17 appearances for Manchester City during the 2017-18 season and it will not be a huge surprise if the Ivorian is seen wearing a rival jersey for the next campaign.
