Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian’s agent has confirmed that a lot of Serie A teams have shown interest in signing up the player.

Darmian has fallen way down the pecking order at Manchester United. So much so that even with the likes of Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young absent, Jose Mourinho chose to play Victor Lindelof in the right-back position.

Darmian has played just 4 Premier League games this season and many reports have claimed that the likes of Roma and Juventus are interested in signing the full-back.

But Tullio Tinti, Matteo Darmian’s agent has said that even though a series of clubs have shown interest in the Italian but Roma are not one of them.

Tinti told Rete Sport(as reported by MEN), “I haven’t had any calls from Roma for the player.”

Tinti also went on to add that the player is currently not looking to move out of Manchester United primarily because Italy have failed to qualify for the World Cup and that added pressure to get the World Cup squad is not haunting Matteo Darmian.

“There has been contact with other Serie A teams, but not with the Giallorossi. For the moment the lad isn’t for sale.”
