Tottenham Hotspur are set to out-run London rivals, Arsenal to the signing of Bordeaux sensation Malcom – as per reports.

Malcom has been setting the Ligue 1 on fire this season and many top Premier League clubs have shown an interest in signing up the Brazilian wonder wizkid.

Up until now, the Gunners were said to be the odds out favourites to landing the forward but now Spurs seems to have beaten their rivals to the race.

According to the bookies, Arsenal were the 7/4 favourites to sign Malcom and Tottenham were at 12/1.

Now though the bookmakers have slashed their odds meaning the Lilywhites are now the favourites to sign Malcom.

Currently, Spurs stand at 1/2 on Bet Victor while  Arsenal are at 10/1, while Liverpool are 14/1.

Another big update on the story is that according to Caio Carrieri, who covers the Premier League for UOL Esporte has said that Malcom’s agents met Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy this week in London to discuss a £50million deal.

Malcom joined Ligue 1 side Bordeaux from Brazilian side Corinthians back in January 2016 and this season he has scored seven goals and provided six assists in his 22 appearances across all competitions.
