Manchester United Jose Mourinho has finally spoken out about the rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to return back to Old Trafford(once again).

Ronaldo moved to the Bernabeu in July of 2009 and how the Real Madrid management want to offload the 32-year-old in order to bring in a fresh batch of talent. And ever since this news has surfaced, the Portuguese International has been linked with a move back to Manchester United.

While speaking to the press, Jose Mourinho said: “I think at the moment Real Madrid is with him now. I think I should be the last one to add some fuel to the fire,

“Madrid is on fire. The results are not good, and it’s a club where I worked for three years, I care about the club and I am the last one to add fire.

“So to put some water on the fire I think Cristiano is the kind of player that every manager wants, every club wants.

“But only one manager can, only one club can have – (Zinedine) Zidane and Real Madrid, that’s my feeling.”

THE FOOTBALL FAN BASE VIEW:

‘Cristiano Ronaldo wants to return back to Manchester United’, this bit of news has been circulating the football scene for a couple of seasons now and every time there is a bit of tension between at Real Madrid and Ronaldo the aforesaid headline makes it to some newspaper or the other.

But to be very honest we don’t see why Manchester United would want to make a heavy investment and bring back a 32-year-old into their squad. At this point in time, if Ronaldo does move out of Madrid then there’s a much greater possibility that he might head to either China or the MLS.
