Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi seems reluctant to make his loan move to Borussia Dortmund permanent and this could very well be a blessing in disguise for Antonio Conte.

Batshuayi has taken to the Bundesliga like a fish in water and both BVB and the striker want the loan move to be made permanent during the summer transfer window. While the Blues are not too pleased with this idea but they do see a very big transfer opportunity in this.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea might use Batshuayi as a counterweight to bring 19-year-old Christian Pulisic to Stamford Bridge.

Pulisic’s current contract with BVB expires in 2020 and the German outfit are not too keen to part ways with the midfielder but Pulisic has himself admitted that he wants to play in the Premier League.

Dortmund will push Chelsea to make Batshuayi’s loan deal permanent during the summer and if they are willing to add the 19-year-old to the equation then the Blues will hopefully not hesitate to give a go-ahead to the deal.

This bit of report though comes as a major setback to both Manchester United and Liverpool who are themselves planning a summer bid for the American. Both Mourinho and Klopp are said to be huge admirers of the teenager and had reportedly approached BVB for the midfielder during the January transfer window.

But Chelsea have something to offer that immediately puts them above the other suitors and Borussia Dortmund like any other club will sell to the highest bidder.
