Former Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has fired shots at his former club labelling them as a ‘commercial club.’

Louis Van Gaal took charge of Manchester United from David Moyes back in 2014 and stayed with the club until 2016. During his two seasons with the Red Devils, the former Bayern Munich manager managed to win the FA Cup but was eventually sacked to make way for current manager Jose Mourinho.

Van Gaal had a fairly successful time at Manchester – winning 52.43 percent of the 103 games that he managed. But the Dutchman received widespread criticism across all quarters that his brand of football had turned Manchester United defensive and boring.

But now the 66-year-old has blasted Manchester United claiming that he does not love them.

While speaking to Sport Bild, Van Gaal said: “Manchester United, who I last coached, is a commercial club.

“Totally different to Bayern. The bosses, like Karl Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness, are former players who know what they are talking about.

“Football is the most important thing, not money like it is now at United. That’s why I love Bayern.”

Van Gaal is without a job since he was sacked by Manchester United in 2016 – two days after winning the FA Cup.

And in an earlier interview, the manager had claimed that he would want to manage another English club so that he can defeat Manchester United.
