Arsene Wenger looks all set to step down from his position as Arsenal manager after decades of services and it seems that the Gunners have already found their new manager.

According to reports, former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is all set to take over the reigns at the Emirates after Arsene Wenger moves out at the end of the season.

Tuchel has also refused to manage Bayern Munich for the upcoming season because he has already agreed to a deal with Arsenal.

But even though all looks picture perfect for the Arsenal fans but there is one major roadblock in bringing Tuchel to the Emirates and that is Sven Mislintat – Arsenal’s current head of recruitment.

The pair had a massive fallout during their time at Borussia Dortmund, so much so that Tuchel even banned Mislintat from entering the club’s training ground.

Last November, Mislintat said: ‘I would probably never have thought of engaging with other clubs,

‘The ban initiated by the former coach to enter the training ground and instruct me to stay away from the inner circle of players the staff, and many friends with whom I have worked closely for years has greatly influenced my thinking.

‘I’ve had offers in the years before, but never really thought about changing. I was born and raised here, I’ve been working for the club since 2006 and I’m a Borussian through and through.’

Sven Mislintat has had a history of finding great footballing talents during his time at Borussia Dortmund and he is currently one of the most influential figures in the Arsenal hierarchy. So if Thomas Tuchel has indeed made up his mind of moving to Arsenal during the summer then surely the German manager will have to mend all bridges with his former associate.
