Looks like there has been another twist in the Alexis Sanchez transfer saga.

Reports had claimed that Manchester United had completed the signing of Alexis Sanchez and the Chilean was scheduled to have a medical at Carrington on Saturday. But now it seems that the medical has been re-scheduled.

Ok, so before you think this is bad news then let us assure you that the transfer is very much on.

It just that Manchester United have decided to give their medical staff the night off.

The medical staff travelled with the first team squad as Mourinho’s men took on Burnley and they were scheduled to return back to Manchester and rendezvous with Alexis Sanchez at Carrington.

But as per the Mail, the medical has been rescheduled for Sunday and will take place somewhere between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Mourinho has also given his players two days off and he himself will be travelling to London to spend time with his family.

It looks like United fans will have to wait another day for Alexis Sanchez.
