Alvaro Morata joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window from Real Madrid. And upon arriving the Spaniard has been an instant hit. He has scored six goals for the Blues in eight top-flight appearances and this has already put him into the hearts of the supporters.
But now the striker seems to be suffering from the same problem like his fellow Spaniard Diego Costa. Morata cannot adjust to life in London – a problem that also troubled Diego Costa.
While talking to an Italian newspaper, Morata said, “I live in downtown Chelsea… What fascinates me about London is its multi-ethnicity, the coexistence of cultures and religions, but I do not see myself living here for very long. It’s too big, too much stress, too much of a metropolis.”
So while everyone thought that the player was settling in well with the club and the atmosphere, Morata has dropped a bomb by stating that he wants to move out of London – sooner or later.
