Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has admitted that he has already received his Football Association Level Two coaching qualification while he was out on loan at AFC Bournemouth.

Wilshere made his debut for Arsenal back in 2012 but since then he has failed to make any sort of impact – neither at club level nor for England. His career hit a new low when he was loaned out to Bournemouth last season but that spell too was marred with injuries.

Now while speaking to the Arsenal podcast, Wilshere has revealed that he has already got his level two coaching badge and now he is working towards his UEFA B badge.

Wilshere said, “A few of the lads were talking about doing their Level Two [coaching badge] and I thought I’m going to jump on it. I really enjoyed it, while I’m fit and playing healthy I might not need it.

“But even if I’ve got another 10 years left in me, I don’t want to be at the end of my career and maybe have a year out and be thinking, what do I want to do… and then have to go through Level Two, UEFA B, UEFA A.

“I’m doing my UEFA B at the minute. Luckily I’ve got great facilities here at Arsenal, great players and the PFA and the FA have been great and really helpful. I’m going to complete that and then see what I want to do.”

The 25-year-old midfielder’s contract with Arsenal comes to an end next summer and he is being closely monitored by the likes of Man City and Chelsea. If the Gunners do not offer the English International a new contract then both these clubs will not hesitate to place an offer for the player.
