As soon as PSG signed Neymar from Barcelona one of the first persons to breathe a huge sigh of relief would definitely have been Arsene Wenger. Simply because PSG were one of the teams alongside Man City who had shown a keen interest in signing the Chilean. But now it looks as if PSG want the cream as well as the cherry at the top.
In a statement of absolute intent, the PSG owner has claimed that if his club wished to sign Alexis Sanchez then he will directly contact Arsene Wenger – owing to the great professional relations that both the clubs have.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi said, ‘If I want Alexis Sanchez I’m going to talk to Arsene Wenger.’
‘We have respect for Arsenal [and have] excellent relations.’
This statement has certainly sent a few shock waves across the Emirates as many fans believe that PSG might still come for Sanchez. Even though Wenger has claimed on every possible occasion that Sanchez will stay with Arsenal for the next season but with the crazy amounts of money that PSG are capable of spending, the Chilean might find it really hard to resist a move.
On the other hand, Manchester City are not yet ready to give up without a fight and Pep Guardiola might just have come up with an ingenious plan in order to tempt Wenger to sell off Sanchez. If the recent news is to be believed then the City boss if willing to offer Sergio Aguero to Arsenal in a straight swap deal for the Chilean.

This can be a very clever move which might just help push the game in City’s favour. While PSG will certainly pay a large sum of money for Sanchez but it will be really tough for Arsenal to find a suitable replacement given the fact that the transfer market has just rolled on into its final month. But if Wenger was to approve of City’s new offer then it will certainly save him a lot of time in ‘replacement-hunting.’
