Premier League leaders Chelsea take on Crystal Palace at home this weekend. And Antonio Conte has a few selection headaches to deal with before the match. The Chelsea boss admitted to the fact that he has to check on a few players before settling on his final line-up. And one of those players will definitely be Eden Hazard.

Eden Hazard doubtful?

Hazard has been the go-to man for Chelsea all throughout the season. He has been the one providing the spark and flair in and around the opponent’s penalty box. Hazard who has a calf injury was a doubt for this clash. But Conte is confident that he will be fit to be in the first eleven. Costa also has an ankle injury and is doubtful for the match. But good news for Chelsea is the fact that John Terry is fit and available for selection.

Chelsea are expected to start with Kante and Fabregas in the midfield this weekend. Kante who has been superb this season had a rather contradicting international match for France. He was literally bullied by Iniesta and Busquets in midfield. And he will be desperate to get things back on track in his familiar Chelsea blue.

Injury worries for the Eagles as well:

Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce has some injury worries of his own, though. Both McArthur and Flamini are doubtful for this all crucial tie which Patrick Van Aanholt is sidelined with an ankle injury. Loic Remy who is on loan from Chelsea will also be unavailable for this tie due to some obvious reasons. Big Sam will be heavily banking on his charismatic striker Christian Benteke to provide the firepower up front for the Eagles.

With a win against Palace, Chelsea can open up a twelve point gap at the top of the table. Their nearest rivals Spurs are currently at 59 points and with a win, Chelsea will be virtually uncatchable from this point on.
