Former Manchester player labelled “too fat” to play

Former Manchester United as well as Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez has been labelled ‘too fat’ to play according to the new manager of Shanghai Shenhua.

Carloz Tevez who is currently playing for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League is one of the highest paid footballers in the world – earning over £600,000 per week. But the player as of now it not fit enough to be considered for the playing eleven.

Shanghai’s new manager Wu Jingui took over the reigns of the club from Gus Poyet this week and immediately the new boss stamped his authority. According to the news, Wu has said that Carloz is physically not fit to play as he is overweight. Even though the Argentine is one of the star attractions in the Chinese League but the new manager is quite clear of his intentions. According to Wu, he has the responsibility of the team as well as the players. So in the current scenario, the former United man will not make the cut.

Wu Jingui said, “He’s not ready physically. He’s not fit to play.

“He is overweight, along with [Fredy] Guarin. I have to take responsibility for the team and the players as well,” Wu added.

“If you are unable do your utmost to play, there’s no point in picking you.”

Tevez came to China in 2017 after leaving Boca Juniors in Argentina and it has been rumoured that the 33-year-old might return back to his native land once again.
