City head to Vicarage road to play Watford in the fifth match of the Premier League season.

Manchester City are coming off two top wins against Liverpool and then against Feyenoord in the Champions League.

The Blues scored 9 goals in the span of 5 days without having been breached even once and Pep Guardiola has reason to be delighted.

They will hope to continue to be so prolific when they face an in-form Watford side who have started the season impressively under Marco Silva.

Here are a few key battles that could tilt the game in the favour of one team or another.

1) Richarlison vs Kyle Walker

The young Brazilian attacker has turned quite a few heads since his arrival in England. He is creative, pacy, strong on the ball, and clinical. Watford will surely bank on him in the long run as they look to achieve greater heights this season. Face up against him will be former Tottenham right-back, Kyle Walker. He has started his City career decently and is putting in good displays for his boss Pep Guardiola. He will hope to thwart Watford’s, key man.

2) Sergio Aguero vs Christian Kabasele

Aguero has started the season in his usual prolific manner and he will be relieved he has done so especially after all the summer links with Alexis Sanchez. The Argentinian will be ready to put up yet another display worthy of noting as he nears City’s all-time scoring record. Attempting to stop him will be Belgian defender Christian Kabasele. The 26-year-old has started the last two games and impressed his boss keeping clean sheets in both the games in the absence of the suspended Miguel Britos. He will look to use his strength to stop Aguero from running riot.

3) Kevin De Bruyne vs Abdoulaye Doucoure

City’s Belgian midfielder is starting to dominate games more now. The game against Liverpool saw him at his creative best and he did that against Feyenoord as well. His vision and quality are second to none as he is one of Guardiola’s most trusted lieutenants in the race for the title. Watford’s Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Doucore will be tasked with cutting him off. The burly midfielder is turning out to be this season’s Etienne Capoue already scoring twice including a belter against Southampton at St. Mary’s stadium last week.

City and Watford are two of the only three undefeated teams so far this season with the Citizens winning three of their games and the Hornets returning with maximum points from two games. One of those might change on Saturday night when these teams clash.
