Current Everton striker and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has been charged with drink-driving according to the Cheshire Police.
As per the report, Wayne Rooney was arrested at 2:00 BST after he was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit. This incident happened on Altrincham Road, Wilmslow while Rooney was driving his VW Beetle.
The ex-England captain has been released on bail and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court later this month.
