Ronaldo is having one of his better seasons of his career right now. Having just won the Liga with Real after 5 years Ronaldo has the chance to lift the Champions Trophy for the second year in a row.
But now it looks as if Ronaldo might have got himself stuck in a rather precarious situation. According to the Spanish Finance Ministry Ronaldo is said to have committed three tax frauds. These were allegedly committed during the period of 2011 to 2013.

The fraud which amounts to a total of 600,000 Euros could land the Portuguese in some serious trouble. Each of the crimes that he is charged for has a jail term punishment of atleast two years if the accused is found guilty.

And if the Real superstar is indeed found guilty of tax evasion then he might get a sentence of five years in jail.

But if he is willing to pay back the amount(now 15 million euros including penalties) then his sentence might be reduced to 15 months.
