Former Manchester United midfielder, Roy Keane – who is currently a pundit, has just given his personal assessment of both Diego Costa and Harry Kane. And the comments have certainly raised a few eye brows.

According to Keane, Harry Kane has the potential to match Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League goal scoring history if he gets to play in the latter half of the competition.

But the pundit had a very different assessment for Diego Costa. Roy admitted that Costa had helped Chelsea win the League last time around but he feels that the Spaniard is a balloon.

While speaking to ITV Keane said, “I know he did well for them, but to me, he’s big trouble. He looks a bit of a balloon.

“Kane is outstanding. His overall play, hold-up play and his movement, this kid is the real deal.

“He needs to be in the latter stages of the Champions League for that to happen, but the rate he is going at, barring injury, he will be up there with the best.”, Keane added

Diego Costa is yet to feature for the Blues in this season as he desperately tries to secure a move back to his old club – Atletico Madrid.

Harry Kane, on the other hand, has been in trail blazing form for Spurs. After having a barren August – which saw him score zero goals, the English International has now bagged four in just two games. And amongst these four, two came against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. The first goal was a brilliant solo effort which tilted the scoreline in favour of the Lilywhites and the second one gave Spurs the two goal cushion required to see out the match.
