Chelsea look all set to sign Brazilian left-back Emerson Palmieri from AS Roma – according to reports.
Antonio Conte’s hunt for a left-back seems to have finally come to an end. After chasing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro for close to a year, the Blues have finally settled for AS Roma’s 23-year-old left-back.
According to Sky Sports journalist Mario Giunta, Chelsea have more or less confirmed the signing of Palmieri.
Mario Giunta tweeted: “Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea is moving closer for € 20m plus € 6m in bonuses. He could have travel for his medical tomorrow. #CFC #transfer @ChelseaFC”

Chelsea are also targeting a move for AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko who has just rejected a contract offer from the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Multiple reports claim that Chelsea have renewed their offer and tabled a new bid which they hope the Bosnian International will accept.
