The 2018/19 Europa League draw was held on Friday afternoon and a number of the big guns from Europe will have to play in the second tier of European football this season.
The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Celtic and Rangers will all play those dreaded Thursday night matches during the course of the current campaign and this is how the groups look like after the 2018/19 Europa League draw.
2018/19 Europa League draw highlights:
Arsenal have been drawn in Group E alongside the likes Sporting and Qarabag which should not be a big headache for Unai Emery atleast theoretically.
Chelsea have been drawn in Group L alongside Greek side PAOK, Hungarian side Vidi FC and Belarus side FC Bate.
Scottish side Celtic FC will have a really tough time clearing the group stages as they have been drawn against the likes of Salzburg and RB Leipzig.
Rangers FC too, have their work cut out since they have been drawn in Group G alongside Spartak Moscow and Villareal.
