Arsenal have claimed that they do not wish to sell Aaron Ramsdale in January but as per the Telegraph, if a big offer comes in the North London side are willing to change their mind.

Aaron Ramsdale has started only five Premier League games this season and since the arrival of David Raya, the England international has become the second-choice keeper at the club.

Initially, Ramsdale was ready to fight for his place in the first-team but with his situation not getting any better, the 25-year-old is now ready to move out of the Emirates during the second half of the season.

Arsenal, however, have maintained that any exit will only happen at the end of this season but if a club is ready to pay a premium price for the shot-stopper then Mikel Arteta can green-light a sale for Aaron Ramsdale this month itself.

Many pundits have told Ramsdale to head for greener pastures but Arsenal legend David Seaman has urged him to stay put.

He recently told talkSPORT: “No. I don’t want him to leave the club at all. Raya has come in and I think now we’re seeing you know why he’s in there because with his feet he’s brilliant.

“Even last night [in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham], some of the touches that he made were brilliant. It’s still 50-50 for me and I’m happy that we’ve got two really good quality goalkeepers at the club. But the main factor that you’ve got to do is make sure that whoever’s not in is happy.”

Even though Seaman is claiming that the 25-year-old can still reclaim his position, EURO 2024 is just around the corner which is why Aaron Ramsdale needs to play constantly during the second half of the campaign if he wants to have a genuine shot at becoming the No 1 keeper for the Three Lions team.

Chelsea are said to be monitoring Ramsdale’s situation at Arsenal while Wolves are said to be keen to sign the keeper on loan until the summer.

A loan move will not particularly entice Arsenal too much because Mikel Arteta isn’t in any hurry to get rid of Ramsdale but if a club like Chelsea are ready to sign him on a permanent deal then we could see him leave North London in January.

We expect Aaron Ramsdale to move out on a permanent deal but to be honest, a loan move isn’t totally out of the question either because the English keeper wants to play regular football which is why he could urge his manager to let him leave temporarily.
