PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been a key figure at the club during the past couple of seasons.

But this season, it looks like the 23-year-old has fallen down the pecking order really badly.

This season, Adrien Rabiot has played in only 14 league games for PSG and his last appearances came early in December of 2018.

Recently the 23-year-old has been suspended by PSG for his antics after the Parisians lost to Man United in the Champions League and now it is pretty sure that the midfielder is not returning back to the first XI anytime soon.

Adrien Rabiot is out of contract at the club at the end of the current season and if reports are to be believed then the academy graduate will not be signing a new deal and wants to move out as a free agent.

Last summer there was a lot of chatter about the midfielder moving out of PSG but nothing materialized but now that he will be available for free a number of clubs are expected to try and lure him in.

Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool have been long-standing admirers of the players and both of them are expected to hold talks with his representatives pretty soon.

But if reports from Spain are to be believed then it is Real Madrid who are in pole position to sign Adrien Rabiot.

The midfielder idolizes Zinedine Zidane and the Los Blancos are looking at him as a long-term replacement for Luka Modric.

If Adrien Rabiot is truly available as a free agent then it will solely come down to the amount of salary that is being offered to him and many believe the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will never be able to win this race against someone like Real Madrid.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are pretty financially stable clubs in England but they come nowhere close to the absurd amounts of money that Florentino Perez can spend in the transfer market.
