Arsenal scrapped through to pick up a win over Huddersfield in the Premier League this weekend.

The Gunners picked up a 2-1 win and with that, they keep the pace for the race to finish in the top-four.

Alex Iwobi scored the first goal in the game after Alexandre Lacazette scored the second right before half-time.

And it was Mustafi who scored an own goal during the 93rd minute of the match but the Gunners finally held on to pick up the three points.

Speaking after the game, former Arsenal man Ian Wright has claimed that the fans should try and back Alex Iwobi since he is a young player who can thrive on confidence.

“What I like about Iwobi – someone who does take a lot of stick from the Arsenal fan base – is that he continuously tries to get forward,” Wright told Match of the Day(as reported).

“He continuously tries to play his game which is to take people on.

“He loves getting into the box, although sometimes his decision making does still let him down.

“But we’re talking about a young player who has got a lot of ability and a lot of promise about him.

“And he’s someone who will get better but he needs a lot of encouragement from the fans.

“He’s someone who does not hide, he doesn’t play safe by getting the ball and just passing sideways.

“He got a bit of luck with the deflection for his goal and he could’ve had another one but he was just offside.

“With the right encouragement, I think he could really be a massive asset for Arsenal.

“He’s somebody that the fans have got to get behind because he’s a super player.”

Alex Iwobi has been one of the regular starters for Arsenal under Unai Emery and the winger has so far played in 22 games in the Premier League – scoring two goals and providing five assists.
