Manchester United take on PSG and Arsenal in their next two games and it looks like Alexis Sanchez is set to miss both these encounters.

Sanchez has endured a tough time this season having seen very little game time both under Jose Mourinho as well as Solskjaer.

But with the recent injuries suffered by the Man United squad during the past couple of weeks, Alexis Sanchez has been handed a few starts and Solskjaer hopes that the forward can redeem himself.

Now though, it looks like the former Arsenal man could miss the games vs PSG as well as Arsenal due to a suspected knee ligament injury.

Alexis Sanchez picked up the knock during Man United 3-2 win over Southampton this past weekend and the manager has put question marks over his participation this week.

“We don’t know yet,” said Solskjaer about Sanchez’s injury, as reported by Manchester Evening News.

“He got a knock on his knee. It might be his ligaments,

“We’ll do the scan tomorrow. Hopefully, it won’t be too bad but we won’t know until we’ve done the scans. Of course, we’ll have to wait until then.”

United face an uphill task this week against PSG int eh Champions League since they go to Paris with a two-goal deficit. And already, Solskjaer is missing a number of his first team players.

So if Alexis Sanchez was to miss this game then surely the Red Devils will have to pray to the Gods in order to come out of Paris with a positive result.

Most pundits do not expect Man United to beat PSG but the absence of Alexis Sanchez could seriously impact their clash vs Arsenal since the Gunners are their direct rivals for the top-four spot in the Premier League table.
