Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez moved to Manchester United in January of this year while Henrikh Mkhitaryan went the other way.
When the transfer went through everyone thought that Jose Mourinho had gotten the better end of the deal.
But now it seems that it is, in fact, Arsenal who were the beneficiary.
Alexis Sanchez has been in constant poor form ever since he moved to Old Trafford and he is reportedly fed up with life at the club – so much so that the Chilean is planning on moving out of the club.
Man United fans are now lamenting the fact they brought in Alexis Sanchez while Manchester City fans are praying to the Gods that their club actually failed to sign the forward.
Before Man United entered the race, Alexis Sanchez was scheduled to join Man City but finally, the Chilean chose the Red Devils over the Citizens.
And for the longest time, everyone thought that Sanchez had chosen United over City due to his lucrative salary.
But now reports are claiming otherwise.
As per a report, Alexis Sanchez chose to join Jose Mourinho’s side simply because the Man United manager had promised him a central role in his first eleven.
Sanchez was given a guaranteed role in the starting lineup which Mourinho maintained for the most part of last season despite Alexis Sanchez being in poor form.
But this whole scenario has now changed with Sanchez wanting to move out of the club and many rumours claim that the Chilean want to pack his bags as early as the January transfer window.
