Alfredo Morelos is the biggest superstar in the Rangers FC squad right now and a host of top European clubs want to sign him during the upcoming transfer window.
Premier League clubs like Leicester City and Newcastle United have been heavily linked with the Colombian and now as per Football Insider, the 23-year-old could be available at a cut-price deal during the course of the summer.
Wayne Veysey writes: “Another Rangers transfer window will revolve around Alfredo Morelos and whether he stays or goes. The future of the controversial Colombian is a huge story and an ever-evolving one.
“It’s been further distorted by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has strangled club budgets and forced Rangers to reassess the valuation of their prize asset.
“Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that Rangers’ hopes of a £25-30million fee for Morelos this summer have evaporated following recent events.
“The likelihood is they would do well to get half of that sum, and should a £15m-plus offer be tabled it is hard to see the board rejecting it.
“All Rangers can do is plan thoroughly for all scenarios and not get caught short if there are late developments in a summer transfer window expected to stretch until the end of September”

Both Leicester City and Newcastle United will be more than happy with this development as they have been eyeing a move for the striker for a really long time.
And now with this reduction in the transfer value, both these clubs are sure to make a concrete offer for Morelos in the coming months.
The player has made it clear that he wishes to play in the Premier League in the near future meaning if either of the two English clubs come calling, it will be pretty hard to Gerrard to hold onto him.
But, at the same time, the Gers manager will only agree to a transfer deal if he has a replacement on board or has enough time to find an apt alternative.
Alfredo Morelos joined Rangers from Helsinki in 2017 and in the 2019-20 season, the centre-forward has scored 12 goals in 26 Premiership games.
