West Ham United have been chasing Alfredo Morelos for a number of weeks now and some reports have claimed that the Hammers might be able to get their hands on the striker pretty soon.

Morelos had previously claimed that his dream was to play in the English Premier League in the future which led many people to believe that the Colombian would try and convince Rangers to sell him off.

He had said: “I dream every day of playing in the Premier League. I want to improve in each training session so I can get there.

“Last year I had a good season and I have started this one well too. I am happy with our new manager and I am enjoying life at Rangers.

“It’s because of my form at Rangers that I was called up for the national team.

“For two years now since I moved to Europe, I have dreamed and worked for this. I went to Finland with a positive attitude and that got me to Rangers.”

While there has been no major update on the situation ever since the news broke but reporters keeping asking Gerrard questions about the player’s future at the club.

And it looks like, the Gers manager has truly grown frustrated with all these enquiries.

The manager recently told the press: “Alfredo is a huge part of what we are trying to do here. Instead of me answering this question every single press conference, I’m going to do everything I can to put Alfredo in front of you guys.

“Then you can ask him the question whether he wants to be part of this going forward. I can only say I want him to be part of it.

“The decision lands with Alfredo.

“I’m sure now that he has been in this country two or three years, he knows ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. So can we have Alfredo up here please to stop me having to answer the question every time? I’ll do my best for you.”

The English transfer window closes early next month so West Ham United have very little time to try and bring Alfredo Morelos on board.
