Rangers FC look all set to lose Alfredo Morelos during the summer transfer window with a host of big European clubs interested in signing him – as per reports.

Alfredo Morelos has been in peak form for the Gers during the past two seasons and this season too he has netted 29 goals and made 10 assists in just 46 games for the Glasgow outfit.

With such a goal-scoring prowess it is more or less certain that the player will head out and it seems that Rangers are already searching for a long-term replacement.

Rumours had claimed that Gerrard was only going to sell off Morelos for a fee of around £50 million but right now that asking price has come down to just £13 million meaning a lot of other clubs can afford to sign him.

And as per the reports, the Gers want to use this money to try and sign Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster during the summer transfer window.

The striker is currently out on loan to Swansea having moved there in January and so far he has managed to score four goals in 11 Championship games for the Welsh side.

Brewster is a product of the Liverpool academy and the coaching staff at the club have really high hopes from him.

Gerrard has also worked closely with the 20-year-old which could be a really huge factor in persuading the player to move out of England and join Rangers in the summer.

It is still unclear if Liverpool are even willing to let Rhian Brewster move out permanently but with Gerrard sharing a great rapport with Jurgen Klopp, he can at least try and convince the German on a loan deal with a buy-on clause.

But this will all depend on Alfredo Morelos moving out in the summer which is something that Rangers will not want to happen but the Colombian has in the past made it pretty clear that he wishes to play in the Premier League.
