Alfredo Morelos was easily the best Rangers players during the 2018-19 season and right now a host of top clubs want to sign him.

The likes of Eintracht and Marseille have been linked with the Colombian for some time and recent reports have suggested that West Ham United too are interested in signing him.

The buzz in London is that Manuel Pellegrini is looking at Alfredo Morelos and might make a bid for him during the coming few days.

And a bit oddly, just days after this rumours surfaced Steven Gerrard has reportedly sent out a warning to Alfredo Morelos.

The Gers boss has warned a number of his players(especially the Colombian) they will have to be hungry and loyal to the club in order to remain in the squad next season.

Gerrard said: “I only want people here who are desperate to play for the jersey and to be part of this club. We need players who love coming to work and representing Rangers.

“Anyone who isn’t up for the fight, or is looking over the garden fence for other opportunities, I wish them well.

“I only want people who’ll give everything for the shirt here.”

West Ham United have sold off Marko Arnautovic to the Chinese Super League and they are right now looking at Alfredo Morelos as a long-term replacement.

With the kind of money that the Hammers possess getting to sign Morelos should not be a big concern but if they are really serious then they would have to move fast.

Gerrard has made it clear that the right offer will certainly force him to sell the Colombian but there is one major condition.

The club will only entertain a bid if they have enough time to bring in a proper replacement for the outgoing Alfredo Morelos.
