Chelsea boss Antonio Conte does not trust Michy Batsuayi.

It looks as if Conte is on the lookout for an ideal partner to Alvaro Morata as the Italian feels that Michy Batsuayi is not cut out for the job. And as per a report, Conte might just have found an ideal replacement to Batshuayi.

Chelsea will soon be entering into the knockout stages of the Champions League and the manager knows very well that with only Morata at his disposal his team will find it really hard to progress to the semi-finals. And that is why Chelsea are said to be targetting Crystal Palace frontman Christian Banteke.

The former Liverpool man spend one very unsuccessful season at Anfield after which he was sold off to Crystal Palace. But it was with the Eagles that Benteke managed to find his footing once again – scoring 17 goals during the previous campaign.

While the Belgian International is certainly not an ideal fit for Chelsea but Conte feels that he will provide the perfect back up to his main striker. The Blues had initially aimed to sign Fernando Llorente during the summer transfer window but the Spaniard eventually chose to move to White Hart Lane. Now though the Chelsea manager is desparate to add more firepower to his squad and the report suggests that the club could very welll make a move for Benteke during the January transfer window.
