Arsenal are currently fifth in the league table with seven points and so far the Gunners have lost just a single game which was a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool two weeks ago.

And next up, Unai Emery takes his side to Vicarage Road in order to face Watford FC and everyone believes this should be an easy win for the North London side.

The first big reason is that the Hornets have sacked their previous manager Javi Garcia and have appointed Quique Sánchez Flores as their new boss.

Also, Watford are currently last on the league table with just a single point meaning it will be nearly impossible for them to stand up to the Gunners especially with Sanchez still to sort out his playing XI.

Now though there might be a glimmer of hope for the home side since two main players for Arsenal could miss this game.

Here are the two injury concerns:

Granit Xhaka:

Granit Xhaka had a really poor outing during the North London Derby as he gave away a clumsy penalty and some pundits did not want him to start vs Watford.

And now this wish might just come true as Xhaka picked up a knock during Switzerland’s clash with Gibraltar.

The midfielder was seen limping off the pitch and while the extent of the injury is not known yet but initial rumours claim that he could have picked up an Achilles injury which if true will rule him out of the Watford game.

Lucas Torreira:

Torreira just like Xhaka also injured himself during Uruguay’s 2-1 win over Costa Rica and there is a fair bit of chance that he might have to sit out the Watford vs Arsenal clash.

The extent of his injury is not yet known but some reports from his native land are not giving positive signs.

If these two players miss the trip to Watford with injuries then it could be a serious cause of concern for the Arsenal boss since Joe Willock is also out with an injury.

This means that Dani Ceballos might be forced to play a deeper role alongside Matteo Guendouzi while Mesut Ozil plays in the hole just behind the striker.
