Arsenal take on Newcastle United next Monday in the Premier League after the international break.

And right before this match, Unai Emery has been handed a couple of injury boosts.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey was forced to leave the Wales camp during the international break with a thigh problem and he did not take part in the games against Trinidad and Tobago or Slovakia.

This cast a doubt over his availability vs the Magpies but now it looks like the Juventus bound man will be fit to take on Rafa Benitez’s side on Monday.

Nacho Monreal missed Arsenal’s warm weather training in Dubai and the club confirmed that he was left out due to a precaution over a calf problem.

While some rumours claim the injury might be serious but major sources are of the view that Monreal should be fit before Monday.

Sokratis missed Greece’s EURO 2020 qualifiers vs Liechtenstein but thankfully he was back when his side took on Bosnia which means the defender will be fit when Arsenal take on Newcastle.

The same was the case with Sead Kolasinac who missed Bosnia’s first match during the international break against Armenia and there were fear that he could have picked up a long term injury.

But the left-back returned when Bosnia drew 2-2 vs Sokratis’ Greece.

Currently, the only issue seems to be with Nacho Monreal since Arsenal are yet to provide an update on the player’s calf issues but otherwise Unai Emery should have a fit squad to choose from when Arsenal take on Newcastle United next Monday.
