Arsenal beat Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Europa League which means the Gunners will now take on Valencia in the semis next month.

The North London club picked up a 1-0 win over Napoli in Italy this past week but the one negative thing that came out of the match was the injury to Aaron Ramsey.

The Welshman picked up a knock right before Lacazette scored the only goal of the game and speaking after the game, Unai Emery revealed the midfielder had suffered a muscle injury.

While the extent of the injury is not fully known but there are rumours that Ramsey might very well have played his final game for Arsenal since he will be joining Juventus during the summer transfer window.

But now it seems like, Aaron Ramsey wasn’t the only player who had picked up an injury in Naples.

The club have now confirmed midfielder Granit Xhaka picked up a hip injury and remains a doubt for Arsenal’s next Premier League game.

Arsenal will play Crystal Palace on Sunday at the Emirates and the club have issued a long injury list one day before the clash.

Granit Xhaka has also made to that list but the club have refused to rule him out completely stating that the midfielder would be assessed before the match.

If Xhaka remains unavailable then it will be Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi who will take on the central midfielders roles on Sunday which is a good enough pair to see Palace through.

But if Granit Xhaka is out then surely, Unai Emery will lose a lot of bench strength.

Granit Xhaka has been a key figure in midfield and one of the main reason is that the Swiss international has managed to keep himself injury free for most of the season.
