Manchester United will see a lot of movement during the summer transfer window with a number of players moving out of the club.

Solskjaer has a series of players at his disposal whose contracts are set to expire this summer and reports claim that the management are not too keen to renew some of them.

But one player whose exit rumours have caught almost everyone by surprise is that of youngster Scott McTominay.

Scott McTominay has been with the first team squad this whole season and was without a doubt a favourite for former boss Jose Mourinho.

But it has been during the past couple of weeks that the Scot has shown his real value providing some fine performances in the middle of the park.

He was a standout performer for the Red Devils during the Champions League game vs Barcelona at Old Trafford and he along with Fred even outshone Paul Pogba.

So after a series fine performances, some rumours have claimed that Scott McTominay might very well be on his way out of Man United at the end of the season.

But now The Sun are claiming that Solskjaer has no intentions of letting the midfielder leave during the summer.

As per the report, the Man United manager has had a chat with Scott McTominay to tell him that he will be a part of his plans next season.

This, if it is true will be a huge boost for the young midfielder who is still trying to find his place in the first XI.

Also if McTominay is staying and will also be a part of Ole’s plans next season then there’s a huge possibility that the club might have made up his mind to let Ander Herrera go.

Herrera is out of contract at the end of the season and some reports have claimed that the Spaniard has already agreed on a deal with PSG.

While the club have not confirmed anything officially, it is more or less certain that Herrera will not be a part of Solskjaer’s team if the manager is willing to hand Scott McTominay a more important role.
