Arsenal picked up a crucial win against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday and Arsene Wenger believes the Gunners can qualify for the Champions League.

The North London side came back from 1-0 down to win the match 3-2 as young Nketiah and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang found their names on the scoresheet and despite some valiant efforts from Ancelotti’s men, the Gunners were able to hold onto their slender lead.

The win also means Arsenal have now moved up the Premier League table and are just seven points off the fourth spot.

And speaking about their chances of getting back into the Champions League, Arsene Wenger has predicted that the Gunners still have an outside chance to move to the top-tier of Europe next campaign.

“They’ve all got a chance because it looks like the top three teams have moved away from the rest of the league,” Wenger told beIN Sports, as quoted.

“And the rest of the teams, the bottom of the league have moved up. The top six have dropped their level.

“The problem is after Sunday it is 27 games and 33 points to go for. If you win you go up to 37 points and if you can make another 22 or 25 points you have a chance.”

Obviously, if the Man City situation holds up then even a fifth-place finish might be good enough for the sides but for that too, Arsenal need to sweat it out and for that, the first thing they need to do is to bring some consistency into their game.

Also, they have the Europa League route available to them as well but with the likes of Inter Milan and Ajax playing in the UEL this time around, Mikel Arteta might not be pinning a lot of hopes in that tournament as of now.

Next up, the Gunners take on Olympiacos in the second leg of the Round of 16 in the UEL following which they have an FA Cup fifth-round match against Portsmouth.
