Arsenal beat Huddersfield 1-0 at home and with that they have managed to keep the pressure on the top four teams in the league.

Everyone thought this game would be a walk in the park for the Gunners but it ended up being a struggle.

Unai Emery’s men missed a couple of chances during the game and in the end, it was Lucas Torriera who ended up securing the three points for the club.

Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both got to start the match up front but ultimately the latter had to be taken off as Unai Emery once again tinkered with his tactics.

And it is this ability to read the game which sets him apart from all the other Premier League managers, according to BBC pundit Martin Keown.

“Credit the manager Emery,” Keown told Match of the Day(as reported).

“This is where I think he’s different class.

“He recognises ‘I need more creativity on the pitch, I want Mkhitaryan and Iwobi in those little areas’.

“Guendouzi then has got options and they get forward into those little pockets.

“All it was was just a change of personnel, wide players coming into central positions and then offering this little bit extra.”

This is not the first time that Unai Emery has made one or more changes which have helped Arsenal win the game.

Last week too, the manager took off Henrikh Mkhitaryan against Spurs and brought in Aaron Ramsey – a move which helped the Gunners win the North London Derby 4-2.

After this win against the Terriers, Arsenal are now fifth on the league table – tied on points with Chelsea who occupy the final Champions League spot.
