Arsenal will host Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend and this game could be really important in shaping up that top four spot.

The Gunners are currently six points behind Chelsea who occupy the fourth spot on the table and a win for Unai Emery’s men would mean that they can cut down that gap to just three points.

But if Chelsea manage to come out with three points from the Emirates then there is a very big chance that Arsenal will end the week in sixth place – behind Manchester United.

While both teams have a few selection worries going into this game but Unai Emery is undoubtedly the more relaxed manager since most of his players are back to full fitness.

Last month, Arsenal had a host of defenders out with injuries but now almost all of them have returned back.

The exception obviously is Rob Holding who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

Unai Emery does have a fully fit squad to choose from and his only big absence is Henrikh Mkhitaryan who is sidelined with a metatarsal injury and the club have confirmed that the Armenian will report back to training in February.

The absence of Mkhitaryan means Mesut Ozil could be named in the squad but that is what we thought last week as well.

But many fans are unhappy that Emery is completely ignoring Mesut Ozil despite the German being fully fit and we believe that the playmaker will be back in the matchday squad just so that the manager can calm a few voices.

But whether he will start the game or not remains to be seen.

This is a must-win game for Arsenal not only because they have to catch up with Chelsea but also because Manchester United are breathing down their neck.

If the Gunners fail to win then the gap to the top-four spot will be up to nine points.
