Arsenal host Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend and this all-important clash comes just days after the Gunners suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Europa League.

Unai Emery had named a very capable and strong side for their Europa League clash vs Rennes but the London outfit ended up losing the match 3-1.

No one really expected the Gunners to lose such an easy game and now most pundits feel that this loss could seriously affect their mentality and given the way Man United have been performing lately, Solskjaer men can easily rip off the fifth-placed side on Sunday.

Arsenal news vs Man United:

Sokratis and Laurent Koscielny started in central defence on Thursday but the former was sent off right before half-time which meant Arsenal had to play the rest of the game with 10 men.

But given that Emery does not have too many top class defender at his disposal, the manager will have to go with the pair once again on Sunday.

Shkodran Mustafi played as a right-back vs Rennes but Maitland-Niles will most certainly come into the side meaning Mustafi will drop back to the bench vs United.

Nacho Monreal who started at left-back in Europe and ended up conceding an own goal will make way for the Sead Kolasanic.

Lucas Torreira is under a three-man ban which means Matteo Guendouzi will partner Granit Xhaka in central midfield on Sunday while Aaron Ramsey will play in the hole just behind the striker.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been in good form lately and the manager is expected to reward him with a starting role against his former side which will see the Armenian operate on the right flank.

Lacazette sat out the Rennes game due to suspension but the Frenchman will come back into the side and will play as the main striker while Aubameyang is expected to play on the right-hand side of the pitch replacing Alex Iwobi.
