Manchester United and Arsenal go head to head at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday.

And a number of the other Premier League clubs will be keeping an eye on this Super Sunday fixture.

A win for Man United would not help them open up a fair bit of gap between them and the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal. Also if Solskjaer’s men were to pick up three points then they would have a serious chance of aiming for that third spot on the table.

On the other hand, if the Gunners manage to pull off a victory then they would leapfrog over the Red Devils and finish the weekend on the fourth spot and this would be a real positive end to what has been a dismal week for Unai Emery’s men.

While most pundits feel that it is Man United who have the momentum and given their recent heroics vs PSG in the Champions League, they should be able to come out of the Emirates with a victory.

But Arsenal defender Sokratis feels that despite Man United having all the drive, it is his side which has an advantage.

‘No. We play in our home,’ Sokratis said.

‘We know what we can do. We will play with confidence and everything will be good. It is a game that we know is very important for us but we will be ready.

‘Of course, we watched [the PSG match]. Everybody watched. But we will be ready, everybody is thinking about Sunday’s game already and we will give 100 per cent.’

We have to keep in mind that Arsenal have not been able to inflict a defeat on Man United during their last fourth encounters and out of these the Red Devils have managed to win three games.

Arsenal last defeated Man Unite in May of 2017 at the Emirates Stadium when Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck scored two goals in a span of just four minutes during the second half.

But this Man United side being managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a totally different piece of cake altogether.
