Mesut Ozil’s time at Arsenal seems to coming to an end really fast.

The player started the season as one of the key men under Unai Emery but right now the German cannot even make it to the match-day squad.

Ozil currently earns £350,000-a-week at Arsenal making him the club’s highest earned player and multiple reports have suggested that the Gunners want to free up that money by selling him off.

Emery is desperate to offload Mesut Ozil this month and now it seems that desperation has reached a whole new level.

According to reports, Unai Emery has gone out and offered Mesut Ozil’s services to two Italian clubs.

The Serie A sides named in the reports are Juventus and Inter Milan and Arsenal are hoping their atleast one of these clubs will show interest in the German playmaker.

While the reactions from both these clubs are still to come out but Inter Milan had already shown interest in Ozil during the summer but then backed out due to Arsenal’s high transfer value.

But right now, it is Arsenal who are in the back foot and given the situation, the Gunners should be more than happy to provide a hefty discount on Ozil’s price tag.

Juventus, on the other hand, have already snapped up Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal but we are not so sure that the Bianconeri will be eager to spend money on Mesut Ozil during the middle of the season.

That too when they have absolutely no need for him given their position in the league.

Unai Emery is eager to bring in a couple of new players during the January transfer window but with no money at his disposal, it looks like selling Mesut Ozil is the only way that the manager can gather funds.
