Manchester United right-back Antonio Valencia has confirmed that he would be moving out of the club at the end of the season.

The Ecuadorian joined the Red Devils in 2009 and after a decade of services at the club, Man United have decided not to renew his contract beyond the summer.

Antonio Valencia is out of contract at the end of the summer and while Man United do have an option to trigger one more year but both the parties have decided to part ways.

The right-back has been injury hit for most of the current season and so far the player has played in only five Premier League games this season.

In his absence, Ashely Young has filled in at right-back and now that new signing Diogo Dalot has already made himself a part of the first-team squad, Antonio Valencia has more or less become useless for Solskjaer.

And now speaking about his son’s future, Valencia’s father has claimed that a number of clubs have shown interest in signing him during the summer transfer window.

Antonio’s father told El Universal: “He definitely will not continue in Manchester.

“He wants a change in the air and the club is not going to renew [his contract] either. Like everything in life, everything comes to an end.

“Arsenal, West Ham, Inter Milan and one club from China are options, but in football, everything is changing.

“He wants to choose the best option, but above all, he wants to sign a contract for two years.

“Not for the money but for peace and hopefully, he told me, be hired by a team that fights for important things.”

Arsenal are a direct rival for Manchester United and while the Red Devils do not have a say but we do not feel, Antonio Valencia would want to join the Gunners and risk getting on the bad books of the United fans.

West Ham United is a much better option and even Pellegrini would love to have the 33-year-old on board as a backup.

But as his father said, all these interests are still in its initial stages and we will have to wait until the end of the season in order to find out which club Antonio Valencia joins.
