Arsenal are finally picking up momentum in the Premier League and after their superb 3-1 win over Spurs last weekend, the fans are beginning to dream once again.

The Gunners won the North London Derby in style and Arteta will be hoping that his players can back it up with another win, this time vs Brighton and Hove Albion.

Arsenal take on Brighton away from home on Saturday and while many pundits think the North London side are strong enough to pick up all three points we have a feeling that this is going to be another roller coaster.

Brighton have been in terrific form this season, winning four out of their first six league matches. And going into this game, they are just one point away from the top spot. Graham Potter’s side might not have enough to overpower the visitors and pick up a win but even a point vs a team like Arsenal will be a big confidence booster.

Arsenal team news vs Brighton:

Summer signing Aaron Ramsdale seems to have become the official No 1 at the club meaning Bernd Leno will once again be warming the benches on Saturday.

Ben White and Gabriel are the first-choice central defensive pairing for Arteta and barring an injury, this partnership is not going to change on Saturday.

Takehiro Tomiyasu had a stellar outing vs Spurs last weekend and he has more or less cemented his place at right-back for the time being.

Granit Xhaka has suffered ligament damage and the club have confirmed that he will be out for around three months. He is currently the only injury-hit player in the squad and this allows summer signing Lokonga to pair up with Thomas Partey.

An official statement from Arsenal read, as quoted: “Recovery and rehab will start immediately[for Xhaka] and we are aiming for him to be back in action in approximately three months.”

Nicolas Pepe has fallen down the pecking order at the club as Bukayo Saka has been a figure of consistency on the right flank. We don’t expect to see any chance against Brighton in this department.

Emile Smith Rowe will operate on the left-hand side of attack with Aubameyang playing up front. This means Alexandre Lacazette will once again have to be content with a place on the bench.

Arsenal predicted line up vs Brighton:

Predicted Line up: Ramsdale; Gabriel, Ben White, Tierney, Tomiyasu; Thomas Partey, Lokonga, Odegaard; Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka, Aubameyang.
