Arsenal are still undefeated in the Premier League in 2020 but that record is under serious jeopardy this week as they travel to the Etihad in order to take on Manchester City.

The Gunners go into this game with some wind under their sails since they have managed to pick up wins in their last three league matches and apart from that Mikel Arteta knows almost every tactic that Pep Guardiola can come up with.

Arteta does have a number of injury concerns going into this game but fortunately for him, the youngster have been performing really well during the past couple of weeks and a number of them could once again start in midweek.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last seven away league matches but amongst these only one has resulted in a win for the North London club.

Arsenal team news vs Man City:

David Luiz and Pablo Mari started in central defence for Arsenal this weekend in their win against West Ham United and Arteta has hinted that Mari could get yet another start after impressing against the Hammers.

But we have a feeling that Arteta will be a bit sceptical about handing the new arrival a start against such a strong attacking side meaning there’s every chance that Shkodran Mustafi could come back into the side.

Sokratis has been starting at right-back for the last couple of matches but the Greek will make way for Hector Bellerin this week.

Kieran Tierney has returned back to training after recovering from his shoulder injury but the full-back is still not match-fit and with Sead Kolasinac also out injured, Bukayo Saka will once again start at left-back.

The pairing of Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka has really impressed in central midfield and the pairing is expected to keep their place against Manchester City.

Lucas Torreira recently picked up an ankle injury and initial reports are claiming that the South American could be out for eight to ten weeks.

Gabriel Martinelli is another youngster who has really impressed for Arsenal this season but the manager will most certainly keep him on the bench while Aubameyang starts on the left flank and Nicolas Pepe on the right-hand side.

Eddie Nketiah has started up front for the Gunners in their last two games and the youngster has really caught the manager’s attention. But against Manchester City, it will be Alexandre Lacazette who will get the nod after the Frenchman came off the bench to score Arsenal’s winner against West Ham United on Saturday.

Arsenal’s predicted XI vs Man City:

Starting XI: Bernd Leno; Pablo Mari/Mustafi, David Luiz, Bellerin, Bukayo Saka; Dani Ceballos, Granit Xhaka, Mesut Ozil; Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Lacazette.
