Arsenal kicked off their 2020/21 Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win over Fulham and next up, they take on West Ham United in a London Derby.

The Gunners are currently top of the league table while West Ham United had to taste defeat on the opening day. And given the kind of form that Arsenal are in right now, almost everyone is expecting them to pick up all three points.

Arsenal have won 6 of their last 7 home matches in the Premier League while the Hammers have failed to win 9 of their last 10 away matches. So clearly the odds are stacked heavily against David Moyes’ side.

Mikel Arteta has a several injury problems to deal with going into Saturday’s match but the manager should be able to name a pretty strong starting XI.

Arsenal team news vs West Ham United:

Mustafi, Sokratis, Pablo Mari are all out injured but the Arsenal boss still has plenty of centre-back options for the weekend.

Rob Holding has been linked with a move to West Ham United but he will keep his place in the backline alongside Gabriel and Kieran Tierney.

Granit Xhaka came off with an ankle knock in Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Fulham and he could be replaced by Dani Ceballos in central midfield while Elneny reprises his role.

Maitland-Niles and Hector Bellerin performed really well vs Fulham and the two wing-backs will hopefully keep their place in the first XI this weekend.

Some experts are claiming that Bukayo Saka could get the nod on the left-hand side ahead of Maitland-Niles on Saturday.

Nicolas Pepe came on as a sub last weekend and the Ivorian is once again expected to play the exact same role as Mikel Arteta will surely choose Willian to operate down the right wing.

Aubameyang and Lacazette scored two of Arsenal’s three goals at Craven Cottage and the duo will start upfront against West Ham United.

Arsenal’s predicted XI vs West Ham:

Predicted XI: Leno; Gabriel, Tierney, Rob Holding; Xhaka/Ceballos, Elneny, Bellerin, Saka/Maitland-Niles; Aubameyang, Lacazette, Willian.
