Arsenal suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League this time losing to Chelsea in the London Derby. And if things do not get back on track then they could very well suffer yet another loss because next up they take on Manchester United in midweek.

The loss to Chelsea means the Gunners are now 12th on the Premier League table and a loss to United would surely make it impossible for them to get back into the Champions League next season.

Also just to make matters worse, Mikel Arteta is currently dealing with a series of injury concerns with the likes of Tierney and Kolasinac all out.

Arsenal have lost their last 3 home matches in the Premier League and with the way, there have been performing they could very well suffer their fourth on Wednesday.

Arsenal team news vs Man United:

The biggest concern for the new Arsenal manager is in the defensive areas since both Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac are out with injuries. While Kolasinac is expected to return back to action in January, Tierney though is sidelined for atleast three months.

The absence of both these centre-backs mean that once again Bukayo Saka will play at left-back against Man United.

Bellerin failed to be fully fit before the Chelsea clash but reports claim the right-back should be fit in time to be named in the starting XI vs Man United.

Calum Chambers limped off against Chelsea with a knee injury and right now there are fears that the defender might miss out in midweek which could be a big concern since Sokratis is also recovering from a concussion.

If both these players cannot be fit in time then Shkodran Mustafi will start in central defence alongside David Luiz.

Dani Ceballos has returned back to training and there’s a huge chance that the loanee could be on the bench in midweek when Ole’s team comes to town.

Against Chelsea, Lucas Torreira started in central midfield alongside Guendouzi but against United, we believe it will be Granit Xhaka who will come into the starting XI while Mesut Ozil keeps his place – once again playing in the No 10 role.

Nicolas Pepe is yet to start a game under new manager Mikel Arteta but we might finally get to see the summer signing in action vs United.

We feel the former Ligue 1 sensation will finally come into the side to replace youngster Reiss Nelson on the right flank.

Aubameyang will surely keep his place but Lacazette will surely be under scrutiny since young Gabriel Martinelli is one the verge of being fit.
