Arsenal have finally picked up a win in the Premier League but next up they face another uphill battle, this time in the FA Cup.

The Gunners picked up a 2-0 win against Southampton on Thursday and they’ll hope to take that momentum to Bramall Lane during the weekend, as they take on Sheffield United.

Mikel Arteta will look at this competition as a definitive chance of picking up a silverware this season but his will also have one eye on finishing in the top-four of the league. And maybe due to this, the Arsenal boss will look to make a handful of changes to his starting XI vs the Blades.

Chris Wilder’s men are yet to win a game since the resumption, losing two of their three outings but the players will be ready to change that when the Gunners come to town.

Arsenal team news vs Sheffield United:

Bernd Leno’s knee injury is not as bad as it looked but the player might not be able to play any part for the rest of the season. Martinez will start in goal.

David Luiz will return from suspension and it will be interesting to see if the manager opts to use him or carries on with Holding and Shkodran Mustafi in central defence.

Kieran Tierney picked up cramps in midweek and the youngster should be rested vs the Blades meaning Sead Kolasinac will come into the side.

Hector Bellerin has been a continuous figure at right-back ever since the season resumed and the Spaniard should reprise his role at Bramall Lane.

Guendouzi was dropped for the win against Southampton but the Frenchman will come into the side as Dani Ceballos is rested.

Mesut Ozil is yet to start for the Gunners since the resumption but there’s a big chance that the German is finally named in the starting line-up by Mikel Arteta.

Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will both be rested for Sunday’s clash and with Gabriel Martinelli ruled out for the rest of the season, Nketiah and Reiss Nelson will start upfront.

There’s a big chance that Nicolas Pepe keeps his place in the starting line-up since the manager will want some senior experience in his front three.
