Arsenal dropped points yet again, this time losing at home to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

The Gunners went down 2-1 in midweek meaning they are now winless in their last six league matches and interim boss Freddie Ljungberg is yet to pick up his first victory since taking charge of the team.

Next up, Arsenal travel across London to take on West Ham United on Monday night and this game could very well definite the season for North London outfit.

Right now, Ljungberg’s men are 10th on the league table picking up just 19 points from their first 15 matches and if they fail to win against the Hammers on Monday then they could very well be moving closer to the relegation zone by the start of Matchweek 17.

Arsenal team news vs WHUFC:

Freddie Ljungberg has not tried anything too radical during his first two matches in charge and we think he won’t do anything brave this time either.

David Luiz and Sokratis are more or less selecting themselves in defence since Rob Holding is currently sidelined with an injury.

Kieran Tierney has not started in the first XI ever since Freddie took over but maybe its time for the young Scott to be given a chance in place of Sead Kolasinac.

Granit Xhaka has gotten back his place in central midfield after falling down the pecking order and in midweek he was partnered by Lucas Torreira.

At the London Stadium though, we feel Torreira will make way for Matteo Guendouzi who remained an unused substitute against Brighton.

Dani Ceballos is a long-term injury absentee for Arsenal meaning Mesut Ozil will once again start in the playmaker’s role on Saturday.

Nicolas Pepe has not been starting regular games for the Gunners but he did make a mark against Brighton after coming on in the second half.

All eyes will be on Freddie Ljungberg to see whether the interim boss selects Pepe in the first XI or not but given the gravitas of the match, we feel the coach does not have any other option but to hand the former Lille man a start.

With Pepe likely to come into the side, Aubameyang will most to the left flank while Lacazette operates upfront.
