Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Kieran Tierney during the past couple of months and everyone thought that this would be a straight forward deal.

But clearly, the Bhoys are playing smart and are trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from the Gunners in respect of this deal.

Arsenal have already seen a £15 million bid rejected for Tierney with Celtic refusing to budge from their demands of £25 million.

And following this, the North London club reportedly put in a second bid of around £18 million which too is likely to be rejected by the Glasgow outfit.

Neil Lennon has also come out to claim that there is no way that that they will allow Arsenal to sign Keiran Tierney for a dirt cheap price this summer.

Lennon told The Scottish Sun“It’s going to have to take a lot more than what they’ve offered the first time around to give us a decision to make.

“I’ve had a chat with him as it can be a difficult decision and bit unsettling. I’ve been there myself so it’s important that we support him regardless of the outcome.”

Now though there are reports suggesting that the Gunners are preparing a third bid and they expect Celtic to accept this offer without any major issues.

The third bid is rumoured to be around £20 million which theoretically still falls short of Celtic’s asking price for Tierney.

But Arsenal are willing to pay £5 million in add-ons which will then take the deal up to the Bhoys’ liking.

The rumours also claim that Arsenal are also ready to add Carl Jenkinson in the mix so as to speed up the transfer for Kieran Tierney.

Jenkinson is right now of no use to Unai Emery and if the Gunners boss can use him as a makeshift to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic then it will be a win-win situation for all the parties.
