Arsenal will take on AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League this Wednesday. And Unai Emery is currently one of the more happier managers in the Premier League.

Arsenal are currently in the race for the fourth spot on the league table and their closest rivals, Man United and Chelsea have both had bad weeks.

While Chelsea lost their Carabao Cup final to Man City, Man United were held to a 0-0 draw by Liverpool which meant that the Gunners have moved back to the fourth spot on the table.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Gunners team news

Unai Emery had received a couple of injury scares on Sunday but most of those players expected to be fit before Bournemouth come to town.

Lictsteiner hurt his back on Sunday but should be fit for selection. Having said that though, it will most probably be Maitland Niles who will play at right-back after having recovered from illness.

Alex Iwobi picked up a knock and had to be replaced by Aubameyang on Sunday but the Gabon international should be named in the first XI against the Cherries meaning Iwobi will move to the bench.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a wonderful game vs Southampton and the Armenian will retain his place in the first XI along with Aaron Ramsey who will play in attacking midfielder.

Granit Xhaka will retain his position in midfield and Matteo Guendouzi is expected to start alongside him.

This means that Denis Suarez will once again be named on the bench.

Sokratis started in central defence alongside Mustafi but the manager has made it clear that he will rotate his squad which means that Mustafi could be partnering Laurent Koscielny on Wednesday.
