Chelsea lost their Carabao Cup final to Manchester City on Sunday and next up they take on Spurs in the Premier League.

Spurs travel to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday and this game could not have come at a better time for Mauricio Pochettino.

Sarri is having perhaps his worst time as a manager especially after his alleged fall-out with Kepa and in such a scenario he has to motivate his team to play against a brilliant Spurs side.

Chelsea team news vs Spurs:

Chelsea are currently three points behind the fourth spot having played one game less which means if they were to lose vs Spurs then that gap could really widen up.

Sarri is not expected to tinker around with his playing XI too much since he is one of those managers whose teamsheets are really easy to predict.

David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger will play in central defence but Emerson having started the game vs Man City will drop down to the bench to make way for Marcos Alonso.

Ross Barkley started the game on Sunday which means that this time it will be Matteo Kovacic who will start vs Spurs in midweek.

Jorginho and N’Golo Kante will both start in midfield will the Frenchman playing on the right side.

Gonzalo Higuain came off the bench in the EFL Cup final but the Argentinian will surely be named in the first XI meaning Eden Hazard who started as the striker on Monday will move back on the left flank.

Willian will drop down to the bench and Pedro should keep his place in the attacking third given Sarri has always preferred Pedro over the Brazilian.
